What You Need to Know
YouInYou is registered as YouInYou Foundation, a not-for-profit Trust (Reg. No. 1682, dated Sept 22, 2020), with the Sub -Registrar, Gurgaon.
YouInYou Foundation is registered u/s 12AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and with the Director of Income Tax (Exemptions) u/s 80G, (Approval no. ITBA/EXM/S/80G/2020-21/1031802876(1); dated March 26, 2021)
We can accept maximum cash donation of Rs 2000 from an individual.
All donations made to the organization are exempted U/s 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961.

The Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) 2010 is an Indian law that regulates the receipt and use of foreign funds contributed by individuals, associations, or companies, as well as prohibits the acceptance and use of foreign contributions or foreign hospitality for any activities harmful to the national interest, as well as matters related to or incidental to those activities.
The FCRA will apply to all foreign donations received through YouInYou. YouInYou is yet to registered under FCRA, however, we can work for case to case basis with Pre Approval Process under FCRA.
You can contribute by sponsoring a child for a month or for a year, or sponsor a full class. (Refer donation Page).
We use 100% of donations to provide Scholarship to Students in our partner schools to fund their education. As per the donation amount children are allocated to donors and all future donations are also utilized in similar fashion.
Yes, the website is safe for any kind of transaction. Also any information exchange is kept safe and in no condition gets disclosed. We use RazorPay payment gateway, which is a third party payment gateway recognized by the financial institutions under the government of India. So any transaction also is thoroughly secured.
Physically meeting the sponsored child is not encouraged by our partner Schools. Usually, we and our partner schools follow strict guidelines on child protection.
You may visit one of our programs on a schedule donor visit. Also, we regularly keep you informed about child’s progress from time to time through our quarterly emails and SMSs.
No, we do not share donor’s information with any other organization under our privacy policy.
It depends on you whether you wish to sponsor the child for a month, for a year, for 2-3 years, for 5 years or till the sponsored child finishes his/her education.
YouInYou Foundation is very transparent on its costs, in fact till now entire cost is managed by Trustees and 100% donations are utilized for the Scholarship Program. Accounts and programs are audited regularly and strict guidelines on finances are maintained as per Government guidelines.
The donor gets an instant acknowledgement mail along with Receipt for online donations.
We send communication material every quarter to the donors, providing updates on program activities and sharing success stories from our partner schools supported by your donations.
